SUMMARY:The Big Scary Halloween Bonfire Night
DESCRIPTION:Sat 1st Nov. Final Event of the year brought to you by the Committee and volunteers of Plymyard Hall Allotments\, The Big Scary Halloween Bonfire Night\, once again combining Halloween and Bonfire night into one grand finalé for the year. \nCommittee and volunteers arriving at around 2pm to setup (if you fancy coming early to assist\, that would be appreciated) \nGuests from 3pm please. We will finish after the fireworks\, expected to be around 5pm. (Dusk is set to be 4.40pm) \nThere will be hotdogs and either Scouse or Chilli\, hopefully some cakes (feel free to donate some if you are up to baking :D)\nWarm and Cold Drinks \nTraditional games for the kids\, Sparklers and of course the Fire and Fireworks –\n** This year we are having Quiet/Silent Fireworks ** \nAdditionally\, we are going to have a Raffle/Tombola\, we have some prizes already\, but the more the merrier\, so if you have something you can donate\, let us know here or in WhatsApp (Thanks in advance) We’d like the donations by the morning of the 1st at the latest please. \nAs usual\, everyone is welcome. \nAny questions\, ask away.

All will be grateful received.\nWork continues apace with the replacement covered communal area\, and we continue to raise funds for the work still to be done\, so all donations will be greatly accepted.

SUMMARY:Out With a Flash and a Bang\, 29th Oct
DESCRIPTION:Well\, as the winter nights draw in and the harvest is all but done\, we are bringing our social events calendar to a close for this year with one last get-together… A combined Halloween and Bonfire Night party. Please do read all of this post\, there are a few things to note. \n29th Oct Sun\, 3pm to 4.45pm(ish\, depending on what time it starts to get dark.) \nThere will be a selection of hot food\, hot and cold drinks\, plus Cakes and maybe a few other things. \nThere will be a few things to amuse kids young and old\, Duck apple\, Dangling Donuts\, and Pumpkin carving competition (see lower down) all being well… \nTimetable…\nArrive 3pm onwards\, eat and drink over the course of the following hour or so\, fun and games\, a raffle\, and then a grand finale of a firework display to bring it all to a close. \nFood to include…\nChilli & Rice\nChicken & Noodle Soup… (Some veggy Noodle soup will also be available if you don’t want meat)\nHot Dogs in Rolls\nCake \nAs is always the case\, please feel free to bring along and contribute additional food/dessert if you want to. \n** Feel free to bring Carved Pumpkins to show off and add to the atmosphere ** \n* If you have anything that we could use as a prize in the raffle that would be brilliant. Please let us know\, and either bring on the day or arrange with us to get it to us earlier if you prefer. \n* If anyone wants to bring Pumpkins for themselves\, or spares for others\, to carve during the event\, please do. \n* If you can\, please do bring mugs\, bowls\, spoons\, etc for yourselves\, that would be greatly appreciated…and a bag to take your dirty dishes home again 🙂\nIf we all did this\, it would save on the waste and cost\, and help to reduce the after-event tidy-up chores for the committee and volunteers.
